Duveneck Kids' Club

Our program is conveniently located on the east end of the Duveneck school campus, with two spacious age appropriate classrooms (the Sun & Moon rooms).

Our teachers pick up the Kindergartners from their classrooms and 1st-5th graders walk to the program with friends.

No transportation worries! We are open year–round and offer full day care (7:30am–6pm) during Winter Break, Spring Break and all Duveneck Elementary staff development days. In the summer we host the Duveneck Nothing But Fun Camp!

Duveneck Kids' Club strives to create an environment that offers children a setting of warmth and security, while fostering independence and initiative by allowing freedom of choice and the assumption of responsibility within set limits.

Center Activities

Duveneck Kids' Club offers a wide variety of activities planned around the children's interests. The activities at DKC range from arts, crafts, cooking, sewing, gardening, sports and games. Once a week we typically offer an on–site sports class taught by instructors from regional athletic organizations (for an additional cost.)

Monday–Thursday we provide a 30–minute quiet/homework time for grades K-2 and a 45–minute quiet/homework time for grades 3-5. During this time teachers are available to assist your child with any homework needs.

The Duveneck Kids' Club staff is a highly trained, educated group of motivated child care professionals. Each staff member is CPR/first-aid certified, and completes a minimum number of hours of professional training per year. We have an overall 1:10 ratio throughout the day.

Healthy snacks are provided daily. Alternative food choices are available for children with special dietary needs. We are a NUT FREE program!
