There is a vast need for safe, affordable, high quality child care for all families living in the Mid-Peninsula region, including our neighbors with low-incomes. In an effort to address this need, Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC) has been offering subsidized child care for over 25 years.

Donating to PACCC

The work of Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC) benefits greatly from the financial support of numerous local individuals and organizations. PACCC is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations to the agency are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donations may be made either to support the work of the agency as a whole, or to benefit a particular PACCC child care center or program.

Tax-deductible gifts may be in the form of a check made payable to Palo Alto Community Child Care, or by using Paypal to donate by credit card or by online bank account. Our address is:

Granting Stock

PACCC also welcomes gifts of stock, a form of giving that offers significant advantages both to the donor and to the agency. PACCC's non-profit status means that you will not have to pay capital gains tax on stock that has appreciated over the years.

You will receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift. And, of course, your stock gift will benefit PACCC, or any PACCC center that you designate. Other Ways to Support

Planned Giving: We also welcome the opportunity to discuss with you the additional tax advantages of making a planned gift such as a bequest or a trust. Such thoughtful and far-sighted acts of generosity have the power to support the agency's work on behalf of young children and their families for many years to come.

Monthly Supporter: Making a regular gift means so much to us and allows us to plan our future. If you are interested in this form of support please complete the monthly donation authorization form and return it to Janice Shaul, Executive Director.

  • Your designated gift will be charged to your credit card between the 20th and 30th of each month.
  • Your gift may be stopped at anytime, with notification to PACCC by the 15th of the month.
  • You will be acknowledged in writing at the end of each calendar year for tax purposes.
