Thank you to the restaurants, sponsors and supporters of Dine For Kids 2007 for supporting PACCC's children and families!

We would like to express our deep gratitude to all who supported Palo Alto Community Child Care and its Fourth Annual Dine For Kids event. Thirty Palo Alto restaurants, several sponsors, 150 PACCC staff and board, 900 PACCC families and countless diners made the event a great success. PACCC successfully raised more than $25,000 to provide quality child care to low-income families in our community. Thanks again to all of our supporters!

Mark your calendars!!!

DINE FOR KIDS - Thursday, November 13, 2007

WHAT IS DINE FOR KIDS?

Dine For Kids is an annual community event that raises funds to provide quality child care to low-income families. Each year in November, Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC) families, supporters and the community at large dine out at any of the participating restaurants, enjoy some delicious food and enjoy a wonderful evening. Participating restaurants then donate 10 - 25% of their evening's proceeds to PACCC.

All funds raised by Dine For Kids directly support the 150-plus children currently enrolled in the PACCC Child Development Subsidy Program. The Subsidy Program provides a safe and enriching environment for children and enables parents to pursue educational, professional and personal goals that strengthen their family's future.

Dine For Kids also raises awareness about the value and benefits of early childhood education, as well as the struggles many families face in providing quality care for their children. Palo Alto Community Child Care envisions a future where each child can reach his or her full potential. Your support is a critical part of making this a reality for all our children.

Just by eating out for one meal, you will be helping others and strengthening your community!

PLEASE JOIN US THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13
FOR THE FIFTH ANNUAL DINE FOR KIDS!

PACCC is currently seeking involvement in DINE FOR KIDS 2008! If you are interested in becoming a participating restaurant, sponsor, or if you'd like to work on the Dine For Kids Committee, please contact Karen Frazier at 650-493-2361 x27 or kfrazier@paccc.com.

"Last year we participated in Dine for Kids because, as a new restaurant, we wanted to involve ourselves in the community, and our children are a great cause. We were pleasantly surprised by the response from the community and the positive impact our participation had on our business."

- Peter Katz, Managing Partner, The Counter

"Sundance was bustling with Dine For Kids diners last November! We are excited about supporting this very worthwhile cause again this year."

- Galen Fletcher, Managing Partner, Sundance The Steakhouse, Dine For Kids participant since 2004

"Last year we participated in Dine For Kids. It was a real success and pleasure to see a great turnout in support for the PACCC kids. For years Café Sophia has been involved in the community and it will be our honor to participate in Dine For Kids again. This year we will make a special Cheeseburger Sambosa for kids and we will call it the PACCC Sambosa!"

Sophia Omar, Owner, Café Sophia Afghan Cuisine
