PACCC's School-Age Programs work to create a fun and safe environment where each child has an opportunity to develop his or her social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. We offer the convenience of being located on the elementary school's campus and the benefit of a low adult-to-child ratio of 1:10.
Each of PACCC's School-Age Programs offers part-time kindergarten care daily from the end of the school day to 3:00pm (excluding Wednesdays, when all children get out of school at approximately 1:15pm). Programs also offer full-time kindergarten care from the end of the school day to 6:00pm, and first through fifth grade care from the end of the school day to 6:00pm. We are open on most school holidays and PAUSD in-service days from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Drop-in care is provided on a space-available basis. Contact the Center Director for more information.
Each of our programs offers daily teacher-led activities as well as creating an environment that fosters independent exploration and play with friends. An afternoon snack is followed by teacher-supported homework time to allow for more “family time” when the child care day comes to a close. Our goal is to involve children, families and staff to create a wonderful child care center that everyone can enjoy!
