Walter Hays Kids’ Club Activities
WHKC has two spacious rooms for children to utilize. The main room (Rainbow Room) is used for most activities, and has a new aquarium. The game room (Star Room), features a pool table, foosball table and dance area with full-length mirrors and lights.

Each month, the program integrates a different theme into the children’s daily activities. Children have a multitude of teacher-led projects to choose from each day. Generally, children at WHKC participate in the following activities: arts and crafts on Monday; cooking on Tuesday; special clubs on Wednesday; drama on Thursday; and sports and games on Friday. Children are also encouraged to take part in outside adventures or games on a daily basis, weather permitting.

Parent Information and Participation
At WHKC, we believe that communication with our parents is essential to a successful program. Parents regularly receive informative emails from the center director, and kids’ club and community information is posted in the parent information area at the center.
